APRIL 30TH DEADLINE FOR SPME FACULTY FELLOWSHIP TO ISRAEL SUMMER PROGRAM APPLICATIONS QUICKLY APPROACHING
Scholars for Peace in the Middle East is pleased to announce the resumption of its Faculty Fellowship To Israel Summer Institute Program for the Summer of 2010. Applications for this Fellowship are due April 30, 2010 for the program which will last from June 9-17, 2010. This Fellowship is offered in partnership with the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Tel Aviv University, Bar-Ilan University, Ben Gurion University of the Negev, the Interdisciplinary Center of Herzliya, Jewish National Fund and MediaWatch International.

The Faculty Fellowship Summer Institute in Israel is a competitive academic fellowship that invites full-time university and college faculty members to apply to participate in a two-week Summer Fellowship in Israel.
The Program seeks to link scholars from diverse disciplines with their Israeli counterparts at major institutions for the purpose of initiating exchanges and collaborations.
The program will be enhanced with participants meeting with professionals and experts involved in government, industry, education, media and other sectors to understand the many facets of Israel’s evolving national and international policies. Participants will gain a deeper awareness of the many challenges faced by the country and the creativity, spirit and ingenuity that Israelis bring to tackling these issues.
