SPME AUSTRIA CHAPTER ANNOUNCES AMBITIOUS SPRING PROGRAMMING WITH SAM EDELMAN, ROBERT WISTRICH, ANDREAS PEHAM, CHAVA MUEHHOFER-GURION AND KARL PFEIFER

SPME Austria is preparing al lecture-series on anti- Semitism in the left with special focus on academia. At the moment we have confirmed a lecture on March 25th with SPME Executive director Sam Edelman and another lecture on April 27th with Prof. Robert S. Wistrich, Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Further speakers in this lecture series will be Andreas Peham (Documentation Center of the Resistence in Austria and SPME Austria Treasurer)- exact title to be announced, vice-chair of SPME Austria Mag. Chava Mühlhofer-Gurion, a historian who will speak about antisemitism in Latin America with special focus on Brazil and the Austrian journalist and SPME Austria member Karl Pfeifer who received in 2004 the Joseph Samule Bloch Award for his for his unresting fight against anti-Semitism. The end of this lecture series is open, we will have our lectures series as speakers are available.
